Covid -19 has changed the way, the dentistry will be practiced across the globe. The whole idea of removing the mask and allowing the dentist to look in your mouth is scary enough for most patients. However with use of proper protocols as prescribed by various health agencies and ICMR the transmission risk can be minimized to a great extent.
We at Oralh Dental clinic have been following all guidelines and protocols to provide you safe and sterile clinic environment so that you can get your dental treatments done with ease.
Following are some of the steps that we have taken to ensure your safety-:
1. Reaching out to you before the appointment (Triage)
Our Dentists will call you after confirmation of appointment to understand your treatment needs and to explain what to expect on your appointment date. You can help us by coming on time for your appointment (as we keep only one patient at one time).
2. Waiting Area and Social Distancing
We manage our appointments in such a way that there is no more than one patient in the waiting area. Frequent disinfection sprays of the waiting area and sanitization of commonly touched areas like door knobs, reception table and sofa seats. Hand sanitizer bottles are placed at prominent places for frequent use.
3. Dental Chambers
Dental operatory is strictly considered as restricted area and only patients and Doctor/DA can enter. Operatory is thoroughly disinfected after each patient. Use of disposable covers on commonly touched surfaces. The water lines and tubings are cleaned using disinfectant solutions.
4. Clinic Staff and PPE
All the clinic staff including the dentists and assistants use proper personal protective equipment including N95 masks, gloves and cover all, head covers and shoe covers.
5. Sterilisation Protocol
We use four step Sterilisation protocol, which includes disinfection as the first step, scrubbing and cleaning as the second step, Autoclaving as the third step and storing in UV chambers as the fourth step.
As the world starts to accept the new normal in the post COVID scenario, We are ready to offer you dental treatment in a safe environment.
