Dental Symptoms You Shouldn't Ignore

Tooth pain, bleeding gums, mouth sores that won't go away — these are just a few of the symptoms that should prompt you to visit your dentist.

See your dentist immediately if you observe any soreness in the mouth that persists for more than two weeks; a swelling, growth, or lump in or around the mouth or neck; white or red patches in the mouth or on the lips; repeated bleeding from the mouth or throat; difficulty in swallowing; or persistent hoarseness.

It’s always best to visit your dentist at the first sign of trouble. Swelling, intermittent pain, sudden increase in sensitivities to cold or hot temperatures or on consuming sweets, and bleeding gums are all symptoms that should never be ignored. The sooner an infection is discovered and treated, the better the outcome.

Intermittent pain when chewing can be an indication of cracked or fractured tooth , and cracks in teeth should be addressed before they worsen the problem further . A sudden increase in sensitivity to cold or hot liquids should not be ignored since this can be evidence of an underlying tooth problem that may need to be treated. Bleeding gums can also be a cause for concern since they often signify that gingivitis or a periodontal inflammation is present.

I got a root canal treatment done from OralH and I am very satisfied with the whole experience. The doctors are punctual as well as professional.
I was always informed in advance about the procedure to be undertaken and the doctor even followed up on phone if I was doing fine.

During my years (2011-2014) as Principal of an international school in Gurgaon there were times when I needed to visit a dentist, for a check-up or for other issues. When I first needed a dentist I walked into Dr Tandon's dental reception and found it both well-equipped with modern dental supplies and manned by competent and courteous staff.

OralH has been my dentist since 2012. From the outset, my experience has always been positive. The Family Dr. Nishi Tandon and her team are caring, professional and friendly. The treatment room and waiting room are bright and welcoming and a sincere warm welcome always awaits you when you turn up for treatment. I like the fact that they explain everything prior to treatment, and the doctors are always willing to answer any questions.

I became a patient of Dr.Nishi at the recommendation of a Family friend. At the time, I was experiencing pain in several areas that was not addressed in my previous dental care. I knew on my first visit I made the right choice. Dr.Nishi sat with me and explained in detail the areas that needed immediate attention.
